Schneider Electric - Simplified Wiring
In One Click!
Thanks to intuitive spring terminals, TeSys Deca Snap-In allows the connection of contactors and motor circuit breakers in just two seconds per wire. That is up to 96% faster than traditional connection methods.
The New Generation of TeSys Deca with Snap-In Technology
With the innovative Weidmüller Snap-In technology, Schneider Electric takes a revolutionary step in motor management and electrical installations. The new generation of (auxiliary) contactors and motor circuit breakers combines speed, simplicity, and reliability in a single solution. TeSys Deca Snap-In perfectly addresses today’s challenges, such as the shortage of skilled labor and the need for more efficient installation methods.
Tool-Free Connection
Conventional screw connection techniques are time-consuming. Spring and push-in terminals are faster, but not always suitable for untrained personnel, robotics, or all types of cables.
The innovative Snap-In technology ensures a quick and incredibly user-friendly installation that requires no tools and can be performed with just one hand, in only two seconds per wire.
Products from the TeSys Deca Snap-In range are delivered with a preloaded spring terminal. Once the wire touches the stop, the spring releases, and the wire is automatically clamped. The Snap-In terminals provide visual, tactile, and audible feedback with a clear click when the conductor is correctly connected. This guarantees an error-free and safe installation, even by less experienced technicians.
Maintenance-Free and Robust
The robust spring terminals are shock- and vibration-resistant and exert such strong pressure that the contacts do not loosen and never need retightening. This increases reliability and efficiency in demanding environments. Users can rely on an electrical connection that prevents wiring errors, even under extreme conditions. This avoids lengthy maintenance or even downtime caused by loose connections.
Ready-to-Robot
The innovative Snap-In terminal block has been specially designed for an automated future and is therefore "Ready-to-Robot." Thanks to this concept, collaborative robots such as Schneider Electric’s Lexium Cobot can carry out wiring independently, paving the way for fully automated assembly and wiring. The robotic arm only needs to insert the wire into the correct opening. With clear audiovisual feedback during insertion, a robot equipped with the right sensors can ensure an optimal contact connection.
Simpler, Faster, and Safer
With TeSys Deca Snap-In, you choose a future-proof solution that drastically reduces installation time, minimizes errors, and is durable and reliable. Whether you work in machine building, industrial automation, or building management, these contactors are designed to make your job simpler, faster, and safer.

Plukon - Scanning for the futureRead moreThe Plukon poultry slaughterhouse in Blokker has installations from all kinds of machine builders and suppliers. Each of these has its own control system and associated components from different brands. This situation has developed over time, with the result that Plukon lost track of the overall picture. When it became clear that many components were now obsolete, the company decided to have itsme carry out a FactoryScan. ‘This gives us more peace of mind and helps us to better plan the replacement of components for the future.’
